Renovation of Kitchen/Service Wing:
Pondside 1865 Carpenter Gothic Home

The back wing was renovated, replacing a 1970s kitchen, opening the back stair, and adding a bathroom and sky-lit laundry upstairs. The new entry porch, positioned off the driveway, enlivens a plain exterior elevation and provides a direct view to the pond as one enters the kitchen. The new kitchen offers a bright functional work area, space for a kitchen table and sitting area, and an enclosed pantry room for storage. The rebuilt winding back stair is open, and a small desk with its own window looking out on the pond is tucked under the stairs.
