I design with an awareness of my responsibility to the client, the neighborhood, and the natural environment. My goal is not only to solve design problems, but also to bring beauty to the project and its setting.

I favor sustainable design solutions, from reuse and stewardship of the existing, to time-honored passive strategies, to energy-saving technologies and materials.

My work includes renovations and additions that respect the historical integrity of the original structure and the character of the neighborhood, as well as context-sensitive new construction.
